When you are logged in, new purchases are typically added directly to your account and unable to be gifted. In addition, the options you’re given to choose from are influenced and/or limited by what you already own.

Gift orders always start with a product license. From there, you can add whatever enhancements, add-ons, and/or content you wish. Simply build your order as if you were purchasing it for yourself. Once your order is assembled the way you want, check out to complete the purchase. You’ll receive an email with all the details, including an activation code for each product license purchased. You can then give the activation code to your intended recipient, or you can forward the email (or an redacted portion of it) to them.

The gift recipient can activate each product normally, creating a new account if needed. All of the extra options you included in the order are automatically tied to each product when it is activated. Further options can be added by the recipient after the license has been activated.
